Teacher Student Relationship



A student with behavioral challenges may demonstrate characteristics that interfere with the learning and safety of the student, another students and school staff.


Behavioral challenges may include the following:

  • - Aggression
  • - Irritability
  • - Unwillingness to cooperate
  • - Attention seeking
  • - Difficult social relationships and many more.

A student may struggle behavioral in response to stressors in their lives (likes grief, bullying, family discord). They may also exhibit behavioral challenges because of other problems that have yet to be formally diagnosed (like mental health concerns such as anxiety or depression, learning disability).
